Common faults and troubleshooting
1. Bike does not work
Possible Cause:
- Depleted/Very Low battery charge
- Faulty connections
- Battery not fully seated in connector
- Improperly turned on
- Blown Discharge Fuse in battery
- Brakes applied or stuck
Most Common Solution:
- Charge the battery
- Clean or repair connector
- Reinstall battery and ensure completely seated
- Review manual, follow start procedure
- Replace with new fuse on same size
- Disengage/free brakes
2. Reduced Range
Possible Cause:
- Low tire pressure
- Low or faulty battery
- Riding with too many hills, excessive load, headwind, applying brake while riding
- Battery was left discharged for long period of time without regular charging, aged, damaged or unbalanced cells.
- Brakes adjusted improperly
Most Common Solution:
- Adjust tire pressure
- Check connections and/or fully charge battery
- Assist bike with greater pedal effort, Change route, reduce load on bike.
- Balance the battery. Contact Customer Service or Authorized Service shop if reduced range persists.
- Adjust the brakes to eliminate drag when brake levers are not pulled, ensure calipers and/or pads can move freely
3. Irregular acceleration and/or reduced top speed
Possible Cause:
- Insufficient battery power
- Loose of damaged throttle/PAS controller
- Damaged torque sensor in bottom bracket
Most Common Solution:
- Charge or replace battery
- Replace Throttle/PAS controller
- Contact Authorized Service shop for repair
4. Motor does not respond when Ebike is powered on
Possible Cause:
- Loose/damaged wiring connection
- Loose/damaged throttle/PAS control
- Loose or damaged motor wires/plug
- Damaged motor
Most Common Solution:
- Repair and/or reconnect
- Tighten or replace
- Secure, repair, or replace damaged wires
- Contact Authorized Service shop to replace
5. Battery will not charge
Possible Cause:
- Charger not connected well/completely
- Charger damaged
- Battery damaged
- Wiring damaged
- Blown battery fuse
Most Common Solution:
- Adjust the connections
- Replace
- Replace
- Repair or replace
- Reset circuit breaker or replace fuse
6. Wheel or motor makes strange noises
Possible Cause:
- Loose or damaged wheel spokes or rim
- Loose or damaged motor wiring
- Debris interfering with wheels
Most Common Solution:
- Tighten, repair, or replace
- Reconnect or replace motor
- Remove debris and inspect for damage
Maintenance:
1.Basic Bike Care
- Never immerse or submerge the bike or any components in water or liquid as the electrical system may be damaged.
- Periodically check wiring and connectors to ensure there is no damage and the connectors are secure.
- To clean, wipe the frame with a damp cloth. If needed, apply a mild non-corrosive detergent mixture to the damp cloth and wipe the frame. Dry by wiping with a clean, dry cloth.
- Store under shelter; avoid leaving the bike in the rain or exposed to corrosive materials. If exposed to rain, dry your bike afterward and apply anti-rust treatment to chain and other unpainted steel surfaces.
- Riding on the beach or in coastal areas exposes your bike to salt, which is very corrosive. Wipe down your bike frequently and wipe or spray all unpainted parts with anti-rust treatment. Damage from corrosion is not covered under warranty so special care should be given to extend the life of your bike when used in coastal areas or areas with salty air or water.
- If the hub and bottom bracket bearings have been submerged in water or liquid, they should be taken out and re-greased.This will prevent accelerated bearing deterioration.
- If the paint has become scratched or chipped to the metal, use touch up paint to prevent rust. Clear nail polish can also be used as a preventative measure.
- Regularly clean and lubricate all moving parts, tighten components, and adjust as required. Regularly inspect all pre-attached and optional component hardware to ensure proper torque spec, secure attachment, and good working condition.
2. Charging &Battery Storage
1. How to charge the battery:- Only the original charger should be used. The non-standard or unqualified charger may cause battery failure and reduce battery service life. Do not turn on the display while charging to prevent damage to the electrical system.
- Charging Methods: Find the charging port on the frame, insert the charger cable to charge. There is no need to remove the battery from the frame or remove the battery from the frame and charge.
- *Either way, please connect the charger to the battery first, and then connect the charger to the power source. The battery should not be continuously charged for more than 12 hours.
- When charging, the temperature of the charger may increase considerably, this is normal as long as the temperature does not exceed 60°C. When charging, please put the charger and battery in a stable, dry, nonflammable, and explosive-free place, and out of the reach of children.
2. Can I still ride if the battery runs out:

Yes, the E-bike can still be ride. But please turn off the power immediately. Please charge the battery as soon as possible.
3. How long should I charge the battery:
- The battery needs to be charged for 3-10 hours before first use. A completely discharged battery will required about 5.5 hours to be fully charged.
4. Battery Storage:
- Deep discharge of the battery may cause the internal short circuit. Heating the battery to very high temperature may cause fire.
- Avoid deep discharge during the use and storage of battery.
- When not in use, the battery shall be fully charged once every 3 months at least.
- Do not carry a deep-discharged battery on the E-bike.
- If the E-bike or the battery is not used for a long time, comply with the following instructions:
- Do not store the battery in the environment with temperatures below -20℃ (-4℉) or above 45℃ (113℉).
- Do not expose the battery in an environment with fluctuating temperature. The ideal storage temperature range is between 10℃ (50℉) and 25℃ (77℉).
- Protect the battery against moisture to avoid the corrosion of electrical contacts. It shall be stored in a dry environment.
- Do not store the battery near the flammable items.
- The battery will switch to offline in the following cases:
- E-bike is not in use for 2 months.
- The battery is completely depleted and/or is not charged for 3 months. Completely charge before returning battery and bike to normal use.
