If you want a platform style 2-bike hitch rack that will hold two 50+-pound ebikes, there aren't a lot of options. If you don't want to pay $1000+ for it, even fewer. This was the one I settled on. It's very good, but not perfect.
Firstly, it's very heavy. Heavy enough that I expect to mostly leave it on my car through the riding season. This may just be the compromise you have to make for it to hold that much weight, because I don't think this is much heavier than other similar racks.
The other issue I have with it is that when you put the rear bike (the one closest to the car) on the rack, there is barely enough room to lean it toward the car to get it past the vertical bar that attaches to the seat post. Maybe if there were some way to swivel that part that attaches to the seat post?
