I took this 3 ebike rack out today for it's maiden voyage. I was a bit nervous because of the weight of my 3 ebikes, but this hitch rack handled the weight of the bikes and bumps in the road with no issues at all. The total weight of my bikes is about 225 lbs. The rack did not sag at all, and the 2 part anti-rattle system kept the rack from swaying and bouncing. I was most impressed with the ease of mounting the bikes. The ramp worked great, and the straps were easy to use and very secure. After becoming familiar with the system, I am able to load or unload all 3 bikes bikes in about 10 minutes.
Installing the rack and securing it to the vehicle would be best with two people due to its size and weight, but it is possible for one person to do it. I set the rack on a piano dolly (ramp side down) and rolled it over to my vehicle. I was then able to lower it down and line it up with my hitch receiver and lift and push it in to place. Once parked and unloaded, the rack folds up flat to the back of your vehicle, which is a nice feature.
The only thing that this rack doesn't do is tilt down towards the ground to allow your tailgate to open while the bikes are still loaded on, but at this price and quality, you cant get it all!
Overall, I am very impressed with the strong build, the bike securing system, the looks, and overall quality of this hitch rack. I would be very hard pressed to find a 3 bike rack at this price that will hold 250 lbs. I highly recommend!
