Two battery segments remaining on first charge, 63 miles on odo. I only use PA and mostly PA1, but we do have hills in the neighborhood, so ocasionaly PA4 to climb steep ones. On level terrain, it should cover 80mi effortlessly. This bike is my new favorite exercise toy. The steps between PA levels are in consistant, no detectable diff from 1-2, or 4-5, small diff from 2-3, gigantic leap from 3-4. Not sure if that is programing or hardware deficiency, like to try another Scout Pro to see if similar. Peddling feels like a down hill ride all the time which keeps me smiling.
I hunt several ranches in Texas with a wide variety of terrain and also backcountry hunt every year in idaho. This bike has done nothing but impress me on Texas so far this year. Has gone anywhere and everywhere I’ve needed it to!
I bought this bike to strap to the rear of farm equipment to use to travel back to my truck when I don’t have a ride available. I’ve cut this thing no slack ,
Already broke the bell off of it but it has impressed me . Has plenty of power to go down some of the goat trails where we farm and back , battery has good life and we’ve got around 50 miles on it so far . I would like a better option for a seat though . Asides from the seat I’d buy another.
After some research, I found this bike had the best battery (20ah), excellent hydraulic disc brakes, the assembly was a breeze, quality shifter components, and the fenders and rack were a bonus as some bikes don’t included them. I tested one and was so impressed I bought 3 more. Everything just works very, very well! It can cruise roads, grass and sand just fine. I enjoy riding single track and I keep up with the kids on there non powered specialized bikes just fine. The specialized bikes are quicker than the e-bike on the downhill sections but I pass them on the uphills. Black diamonds are not a problem. I wouldn’t recommend jumping logs or high speeds on the rough trails (remember it’s an 80lb bike) but if you keep a comfortable pace, it will not disappoint.
This bike is AWESOME !
I did weeks of research before I bought the Young E-Scout Pro. There are more expensive bikes out there but for the price, this bike cannot be beaten. It has a solid build, it's fast, handles great, and comes completely ready to ride. It has fenders, a rear rack plus a bright headlight, and an integrated rear tail light. A lot of E-bikes come stripped down and you'd have to buy these items (another $200+?)and they wouldn't be integrated.
Shipped super quickly I got it in 5 days, it comes mostly assembled, and there's a great Youtube video for assembly, I built it in maybe 40 minutes.
I rode several E bikes before I made this purchase (Juc**d, Ave***, and others)and this bike beats them all. My brother and his friends have so-called high-end bikes for $2500 and my bike rides better. Even they agreed after riding it. I'm 2 weeks into riding it (the battery is still 70%).
Stop searching I know there are a lot of E-bikes out there it can be confusing this is absolutely the best one.
